Anthony Giunta Jr. That's probably kind of right. A full 42" high cabinet would be too tall as the finished counter hgt is probably 42" Back out counter (1.25") and (4") base and you would end up with a cabinet of 36.75. In this sort of kitchen the designer/cabinet manufacturer/maker may have used a standard upper cabinet depth or just chose a size that best fit the design intent. If you were trying to do from stock only than yes an upper would work. These are what they call face frame inset cabinets. Just a finished back panel where the stools are, backing up to the sink base etc. Nice stools.
Dorothy Jordan Would appreciate any info possible on the bar stools. Interested in purchasing the bar stools. Can you PLEASE comment on who makes them? Where they could be purchased?
what is the Backsplash made from? - Can you please tell me about the wall treatment for the backsplash behind the stove. Very interesting but can't figure out what they did. »
