COASTROAD Hearth & Patio At the risk of butting in ahead of Shades of Green, I am going to make an educated guess and say that the firepit above is gas, because I think those are stones in the firepit instead of wood.

Ronique Gibson You can cook on a fire pit! Now you might have to have some accessories like a grate to put the food on unless you are just roasting marshmallows.
Here is a site I found about using a fire pit to cook.
Where does one purchase the box and the gas burner? Thanks - My assumption is that the internal parts are purchased and then the stonework etc is done on site by a contractor. I 'd like to purchase the box and kit if available. Who do I contact?
Thank you

21. Think seasonally. Make sure your garden is in beautiful shape in the summer, and that any extra features you have, like a pool or a fire pit, are cleaned and ready to go. Take advantage of the cozy vibe of the season in autumn and winter, by building a fire in the fireplace and simmering hot apple cider on the stove.More:Photo styling: Say It With Flowers
Like the proportions. Can sit on the hearth.....and use it as a foot rest from chairs. Good safety distance as well. Don't like the wall around it. Like the slate on top.....don't like the stone support.
