The master bathroom soaker tub is the focal point of the bathroom with a frameless shower glass enclosure detail to allow for a perfect view of the tub upon entry. The perfect amount of grey and sea foam green marble tiling detail at the vanity areas creates interest and adds to the serenity.

glass shower doors - I was so happy to see this shower, because my contractor made it out ot the door molding just like this one. I was worried I could not put aseemless glass door in. My shower is 34 inches wide and 72 inches long, but i have a bench that is37 x16deep. So can this be done.
When you enter my bathroom open the door it goes right back to shower. What helps it stop from hurting the glass Thanks SOOOO much. »
Justine Sterling Design Take the photo to your local stone and tile supplier and have them match the marble material to something that you see in person that you like.

love the shower door handle. Can you share the manufacturer and model. - I am doing a master bath and have chosen Brizo polished nickel fixtures. (Virage) I am really struggling to find a handle for the frameless glass shower door that will blend nicely with that collection. Thanks »
Justine Sterling Design Hi. Any custom shower door company (most glass companies) have loads of suppliers for shower door handles. I would suggest contacting them directly.
How difficult is to build the door base? - I loved this Bathroom and building the same in my bedroom. I talked to my contractor and he says it is lot of work to get the base of the door as he knows how to do the pane based standing showers. Is it really difficult? Or in other words, what really involved in there?
I am using porcelain tiles on the floor and the wall. »
Justine Sterling Design The door does not slide. It's on a standard frameless door pivot hinge. You can see that in the photo. Nothing tricky about the detail.
Justine Sterling Design Which fixtures? There are recessed, a pendant and wall sconces in the bathroom. In the actual shower there are concealed recessed fixtures, that keep the moisture out of them. Hope this helps.
Can you mount the hardware on beveled tile? - We are renovating our master bath. I wanted beveled subway tile on the shower walls, but the folks at the tile store said that I could not do that because there would be gaps around the shower fixtures. However in this photo, the fixtures are clearly mounted directly on the beveled tile. Please help me. »
Dimensions - What are the dimensions of the bathroom? I have a small aster bath that I am renovating and was hoping I could use this as inspiration. Thank you »
Justine Sterling Design For the width: 21-24" for cabinets (depending on what you choose) + 36" open area + 36" min for shower = 96" (8'-0") So you might be a little too narrow. Layout some blue tape on a floor to simulate the dimensions or hire a design build construction company to help you figure this out if you are not hiring a designer to help. Good luck!
Justine Sterling Design Not sure if you mean the faucets or enclosure. Please contact me directly for specific fixture specification assistance/consulation. Thank you.
Emily Hurley Hi there, You may be able to make a pretty good guess based on using the tile for context clues. If the floor tiles are 12"x12", then the shower is just a tad longer than 5 feet. The subway tile looks like it might be about 6 inches long, so that would make the shower about three feet wide. Just a guess!
Header needed on the top of the frameless shower? - Is there a "header" on the top of your glass since it does not go all the way up to the ceiling? I am installing a frameless shower door but they said I needed a frame/header at the top for the glass to be sturdy. This picture does not look like you have one and it is beautiful. »
Justine Sterling Design I have used this style of frameless door countless times, and all that it requires is this: Because you have a glass meeting glass corner, you need to stabilize the glass with a continuous channel which you can see in the photo. This continuos channel only runs on the base of the glass, and all other "clamps" are simply standard metal "clips" that hold the glass in place. There is also a stabilizing clip at the top of the corner. Most shower glass enclosure companies should be handle this. Good luck!
ikwewe I have this in my new master bath as well, no header on top. I have a sliding shower door so there is a slide mechanism across the top front. I researched on line to find out it was possible, then my contractor got a local glass company to do the job. There are YouTubes of installing frameless glass enclosures.
Infuse a sense of calm. "I was inspired by the tranquil river and landscape surrounding this home to create a peaceful sanctuary that brought the outdoors in," says Justine Sterling of Justine Sterling Design. "The frameless shower design was key in creating transparency, openness and a sense of calm."
