What is the color of the doors? - I like how sharp the dark doors look in contrast with the walls. I'm thinking of doing the doors and trim in my family room renovation in a nice dark black-ish color to contrast with Benjamin Moore's Crisp Khaki on the walls. »
maggie2 I just figured out how to track all my comments.. i was going all over the site trying to track my comments! I just figured it out. Lol. Hipster you say? Yes that will work too... With handle choice and quirky decor accents .. You're in business!
Where is the painting from? - I love the painting, I have been searching for something like this! Is it an original or can I purchase it from a store?
Thanks! »
Anna Melnikova Interiors I saw something similar at allposters.com. Try to search there, by typing "flowers" in search space, and then picking color, shape, etc. They have lots of prints!
They come in different finishes and you can also have an extra, gosh, I can't think of what to call it, like an extra limb on them. that sounds wrong, but do you know what I mean?
I would like to know if Rachel Reider would kindly share the exact wall paint color in this interior AND what light exposure the room had (north, south, east, west).
Designers have little time but it would be appreciated.
The grounding effect of the black door trim is stunning.

In a home painted with neutrals, black doors pop with interest. You can just paint the doorways in the public spaces and leave the private rooms a creamy light white color.DIY: Upgrade That Ugly Door!
Why you should try to incorporate a seating Area in your fbedroom:
"Not all bedrooms are large enough for a seating area, but if possible it is a great addition. A seating area creates another space aside from the bed to read a book, watch TV, converse. This is especially important in a hotel where your guest room has to function as your living room, office and bedroom. The hotel owners drilled it into my head that every room had to have at least two seats which was not an easy feat to accomplish!"
