Originally designed by J. Merrill Brown in 1887, this Queen Anne style home sits proudly in Cambridge's Avon Hill Historic District. Past was blended with present in the restoration of this property to its original 19th century elegance. The design satisfied historical requirements with its attention to authentic detailsand materials; it also satisfied the wishes of the family who has been connected to the house through several generations.

Where did you get the light fixture? And what kind is it? »
What stain did you use on the trim and floor? - I like the color combination, what type of wood, stain, and finish did you use for the trim and the flooring? Thanks! »
Siemasko + Verbridge This project was a restoration, in order to match existing most products and paints were custom. The hardwood floor was an existing white oak floor that we patch/matched in the areas needed. The stain/finish is a custom mix in order to match the existing. Same goes for all the trim in the kitchen, it’s white oak trim with a custom stain/finish to match.
