The Bathroom layout is open and linear. A long vanity with medicine cabinet storage above is opposite full height Walnut storage cabinets. A new wet room with plaster and marble tile walls has a shower and a custom marble soaking tub.

From foundation pour to welcome home pours, we loved every step of this residential design. This home takes the term “bringing the outdoors in” to a whole new level! The patio retreats, firepit, and poolside lounge areas allow generous entertaining space for a variety of activities. Coming inside, no outdoor view is obstructed and a color palette of golds, blues, and neutrals brings it all inside. From the dramatic vaulted ceiling to wainscoting accents, no detail was missed. The master suite is exquisite, exuding nothing short of luxury from every angle. We even brought luxury and functionality to the laundry room featuring a barn door entry, island for convenient folding, tiled walls for wet/dry hanging, and custom corner workspace – all anchored with fabulous hexagon tile.

A vintage bathroom that needed renovating to have a more up-to-date feel. For a fun, classic look, we made this bathroom black and white with a splash of metallic silver. We replaced the pedestal sink with a contemporary square, wall mounted sink & faucet, repainted the radiator, an accented black chair rail, and installed new black and white rectangular tile flooring. This bathroom renovation kept the vintage ambiance while incorporating a few contemporary finishes. We replaced the pedestal sink with a contemporary square, wall mounted sink & faucet, repainted the radiator in a glamorous silver color, installed octagon-designed floor tiles, new subway tile, designed a sleek medicine cabinet, and installed two shower shelves that were safe and out of reach from the client’s children. Having lived in her home for an extended period of time before embarking on a remodel meant that this homeowner had a clear idea of how she uses her space, the shortcomings of the layout, and how she would like to improve it. Her challenges started with a non-functional master bathroom that was dark and dated. By reducing the size of a closet in the adjoining bedroom and removing a full closet from the inside of the bathroom, Riverside Construction was able to open up the space and allow for a larger vanity. New, functional closet space was designed into the bedroom and added to another wall. Replacing the dark tub/shower wall tile with crisp white Subway tile brightened up the space and created the crisp, fresh look that the homeowner wanted. A vertical mosaic accent was also used for visual interest, and a built-in shower niche was created to keep bath essentials within easy reach. A honed marble countertop and a platinum crystal vanity light fixture by Quoizel complete this lovely transitional master bathroom transformation.

A small guest bath in this Lakewood mid century was updated to be much more user friendly but remain true to the aesthetic of the home. A custom wall-hung walnut vanity with linear asymmetrical holly inlays sits beneath a custom blue concrete sinktop.
