This living room was inspired by this amazing Nourison rug (with patterns and colors pulled from medieval tapestries). Working with traditional and modern elements can be quite tricky, so we sprinkled the space with mid-century modern furniture, Asian elements, old Hollywood glam, and Gothic-inspired pieces.

This comfortable sitting room provides space for reading and TV viewing on the second floor of the owner's home. A small bedroom was converted into this cozy room. The homeowner's Native American rug provided the inspiration for the design.
Sandy Schargel Interiors
The small living room packs a lot of punch. The red walls compliment the yellow sofa and large white wall art. The large lucite and glass coffee table is perfect for the space - it's like a jewel. Throw pillows of various patterns adds a special touch - the red pillows and area rug compliment the red walls.

The Den doubles as a small media room as well as a sleeping area during occasional visits by their daughter. The client’s inspiration for the apartment colors and whimsical feeling were the three “lady” prints above the daybed. The wallpaper is by Romo, the pillows and chair are custom.
