The wine room has two intimate seating groups. The high back settee and club chairs that have a Lucite frame, cluster around a glass topped table. A custom game table that has a reversible top for games or poker. Ceiling beams were added and the ceiling was painted a wine color for a added cozy feeling. A chandelier with sliver and gold metal pieces in the middle of a linen drum shade have a masculine look that compliments the flat metal drapery rods.

A rarely used Dining room was converted to a Wine room. The wall was bumped out into the garage to make room for an 800 bottle wine cooler (double stacked rows). Frameless doors have gaskets to keep the air inside the cooled space. Each door is hinged at the top and bottom and locks at the floor.Ceiling beams were added along with all the recessed and chandelier lights.. The ceiling was painted a wine color to go with the theme. The cozy club chairs float in their Lucite frames. The custom game table has a reversible top, one side is flat and the other for poker.

This glass front wine cellar / glass wine cellar in Solana Beach, San Diego, California, is a perfect example of turning that under-utilized closet or niche space. Located directly off of the dining room, this modern wine cellar blends style and utility, incorporating features such as triple deep wine racking with glass, stone, wood, and stainless steel. A contemporary look melding perfectly with this more traditional style home. Design Build team at Vintage Cellars was also commissioned to create a unique and stylish wooden backing, to ensure that the metal wine pegs really popped. Custom walnut stain was placed on Alder wood paneling, custom fit with metal wine rack pegs from floor to ceiling. We worked directly with Noe Design Co to create a one of a kind entrance into this cellar. The highest quality stainless steel framing and double pane thermally insulated glass were placed on the front wall to not only maintain a beautiful look, but to also ensure that this wine room kept a perfect 55 degree temperature with constant relative humidity. Wine Cellar Builder Vintage Cellars are true pros when it comes to proper wine storage. Long term wine storage was a must for this client. This small wine cellar / glass wine cellar / small wine room has a ducted cooling system - utilizing a Wine Guardian placed into the ceiling.
