This mid-century modern was a full restoration back to this home's former glory. The vertical grain fir ceilings were reclaimed, refinished, and reinstalled. The floors were a special epoxy blend to imitate terrazzo floors that were so popular during this period. Reclaimed light fixtures, hardware, and appliances put the finishing touches on this remodel. Our San Francisco studio added a bright palette, striking artwork, and thoughtful decor throughout this gorgeous home to create a warm, welcoming haven. We added cozy, comfortable furnishings and plenty of seating in the living room for family get-togethers. The bedroom was designed to create a soft, soothing appeal with a neutral beige theme, natural textures, and beautiful artwork. In the bathroom, the freestanding bathtub creates an attractive focal point, making it a space for relaxation and rejuvenation. We also designed a lovely sauna – a luxurious addition to the home. This three-story Westhampton Beach home designed for family get-togethers features a large entry and open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen was gut-renovated to merge seamlessly with the living room. For worry-free entertaining and clean-up, we used lots of performance fabrics and refinished the existing hardwood floors with a custom greige stain. A palette of blues, creams, and grays, with a touch of yellow, is complemented by natural materials like wicker and wood.
