There’s nothing quite like a cozy cottage to call home. Especially when you can get creative, renovating key spaces to balance modern convenience and vintage charm. We collaborated with the talented homeowners to bring their vision to life an the results speak for themselves. A gourmet kitchen fits seamlessly in the original home’s footprint and not one, but two thoughtfully re-designed bathrooms bring a slice of luxury and function to this sweet little home. The modern-meets-classic kitchen tiles started it all, setting the tone for the entire renovation. Gourmet appliances and custom cabinetry maximized function and storage and new lighting was a perfect finishing touch. We completely re-worked the home’s “master” bath (you should see the “before!”), adding a spacious frameless glass shower. In the basement, the new bathroom is every bit the retreat the homeowner dreamed of, with the freestanding composite tub, an enormous vanity and a hidden stackable washer and dryer. The decommissioned fireplace is oh-so decorative, showing off with new Ann Sacks marble mosaic tile. floating vanities can stand out as a modern accent or blend into bathroom surroundings for a simplified look. For a subtle approach, match the vanity finish to the surrounding wall color like dark blue hues.

This Bay Village bathroom on Cleveland's West Side has been completely gutted from it's original state and updated to have a sleek, modern look. The shower has been finished in marble subway tiles, and the floor in hexagon shaped marble tiles. A pedestal sink saves space in this compact bathroom, along with the built in cabinetry.

Conversion of a 3-family, wood-frame townhouse to 2-family occupancy. An owner’s duplex was created in the lower portion of the building by combining two existing floorthrough apartments. The center of the project is a double-height stair hall featuring a bridge connecting the two upper-level bedrooms. Natural light is pulled deep into the center of the building down to the 1st floor through the use of an existing vestigial light shaft, which bypasses the 3rd floor rental unit.

This master bathroom was VERY tiny and dated. Our goal was to create a more open space that is light, classic, chic, and functional without demoing walls and staying within a budget. The glass shower wall helped to create the illusion of more space.

Walled in corner shower was opened up with glass. They light gray subway tile is accented with gray and white herringbone glass mesh tile in a vertical pattern as well as in the shampoo niche. The custom white Waypoint cabinets are topped with Iced White quartz. Nickle plated hardware and silver framed mirrors cannot be overlooked. The tiny bathtub got an upgrade to a soaking jetted tub with matching subway tile. The dated built-ins became a usable closet with a handy pocket door. Dark grey walls and grey stone like flooring complete the room.

A Modern Texas Artisan custom build in Richardson, Texas. This home is warm and inviting and built with a family in mind. An earthy color palette and natural elements are used throughout the space to embrace the craftsman modern style. We worked with the builder to design this home from ground up.
