    ajricc00 Thanks! The tree in question is actually a bur oak--and I do believe we live within the tree's native range (DC Metro); gentleman at the nursery said it was a good choice for the area...just not sure if it's right for our space.

    Gabberts Design Studio A small ornamental fruit tree might be a better scale for your yard. Try bringing these photos to the nursery and they will have a better idea about what trees to recommend for the space available.
