“I recently worked with Fordham Marble for tile and new granite kitchen counters. Their tile selection was amazing and they worked with us making creative and design suggestions. They were very flexible and worked within our budget. They had a fantastic variety of granite for our kitchen counters. Upon selecting the stone, we were able to go to their shop facility and layout the pieces in order to see how they would fit together and match the slabs. The shop foreman worked with us to layout the best areas of each granite slab and spent a long time as we moved the tape lines and tried different configurations. The installation was perfect. The seams are almost invisible and the grain of the granite matches perfectly. I highly recommend these people.”

“We worked with Hartley & Hill Design to completely renovate and redesign our kitchen last summer. They were fantastic and we cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. We met with them and described the concepts that we wanted (functional and classic, keeping in mind that we like to entertain, but we have small children and a busy family life). They put together the design and sat down with us to explain their ideas very thoroughly and also run through the budget. They came up with a fantastic design that we never would have thought possible, incorporating very creative ideas, while still keeping in mind our budget as well as our personal preferences. It was a very collaborative process, with us being as involved as we wanted to be, but not feeling like we had to manage a project; they expertly managed the project for us! All of the subcontractors they hired were first class. The renovation was very well organized, there was consistent open communication, any hiccups along the way (as will happen in any project this size) were managed smoothly and effectively. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the end result. We can't wait to use them again soon to redesign our dining room/living room area. We would highly recommend them!”

I went to her for help after the designers I hired skipped town halfway through decorating an entire house. She was the only decorator I interviewed (and I spoke with many) who understood I had no desire to start over from scratch. She looked at what had been started, remained true to the original vision, made an exact assessment of what was needed to finish the job. She didn't waste time trying to convince me to get rid of things just because I had purchased them from other decorators. In fact, she made the entire experience a pleasure and now the house looks sensational. I wish I could have hired her from the beginning.
