Our front door was so drab at the 1928 remodel we are doing, we jazzed it up with a window panel from NatureRails to add interest and extend that classic look of the historic home. Photo 1 is before, photo 2 is closeup of the metal insert we did.

Ours is white, with window panel. Been thinking I might change it to a muted green/grey.

Have not finished it yet... will be rustic red rub down and stain.... sets in about 14" and is a double entry with 3/4 leaded glass and sidelites... I want it to look aged and beautiful.

My front door and the sidelights are a terra cotta color that I have throughout my house.

Keep trying to convince myself I need to update the front door, but can't make myself turn loose of the money....so I just keep painting it when I get bored with the color.

Our front doors are like the rest of the east side of our home, rustic framed with glass..It's everything else around them that makes it the entry way.You may not even notice the front doors in this picture..LOL

I love the contrast of a black door with white trim. Also, black makes the colors of my wreathes pop!

Our front doors by Mark Levy, mark levy studio.com, are our prized possession. The glass design is unique, contemporary and a magnet to people driving by. Many people have come by and asked where we got our doors. We readily share where because we know that Mark only makes one-of-a-kind doors and ours will always be special just for us. He is genius in his use of different types of glass and creative designs. He named our doors "Clearly Outnumbered."

Please excuse the cobwebs! The paint colour is called 'Deep Ocean Blue' ( from an Australian Paint colour chart.) We are thinking of repainting soon.

Just painted my front door red and love it! I put a little antique glaze over it. Made the biggest difference to my farmhouse!

Our front entrance is a double door set that came out of a church and it is 8 feet tall. The doors are painted Bellingrath Green against white trim and my house is red board and bat, hand done, not factory prefab. It looks a hundred years old, and we love it.
