Valspar's Smooth Pebble is a similar color.

The paint is C2 Brand's "Alloy".

It looks like the distances vary a little as you move along the wall. Lucky for you you have a natural starting point: the mirror. I would cut out some newspaper or brown paper shapes the size of your art and play with an arrangement on the floor, or on the actual wall, and adjust to suit your eye. Hi Sheila - Thanks for the quick response! I actually took newspaper & traced the frames out and have them hanging on the wall. Would you mind taking a peek at it? I'd like someone else's input. I think I like it, but once it is up I do not want to have to paint again if I change my mind so I'm trying to do my homework!!!

I think so, but I think I'd incorporate larger pieces, and a composition with a clear center with a larger picture in it. This wall is a long narrow passage way, while your living room will need to give the eye somewhere to focus as people will be looking at it head on instead of down the hallway.

i think it's a good idea. and you can change the paint frame color to make it more colorful. then your room will shining~

Have you looked at Sherwin Williams color strip that goes from 7070-7076? They are gorgeous, true grays. This looks like it could be Online/7072 or Network Gray/7073. It's hard to tell with lighting and computer monitors.

Check out Behr Elephant Skin. Have 15 different gray sample boards painted and they all go greenish, tan or purple. Elephant Skin is best so far in our lighting. Sorry the pic is awful, but hopefully gives you an idea....

Benjamin Moore Color HC169 Coventry Gray . I have it in my living room with white chair rail and white underneath with molding...I love this gray!!

It looks like a Visual comfort light! Google it!

I am pretty sure the treads are the same wood floor as both upstairs and down stairs. Otherwise, esthetically, it would not look right!

For a gray hue try Sherwin Williams' Gray Clouds, SW7658. To pick up the warmer tones, try Pavilion Beige, SW7512.

I don't know the exact color, but it looks very similar to the gray color showcased in Restoration Hardware right now. You might try going by there. Good luck!
