Shelves. Artwork isn’t the only way to personalize your walls. Instead, consider installing affordable shelving from places like Target or Ikea and fill them with books and knickknacks for a warm, lived-in feel.
8. High level of creativity. Create a unique office space on an entire wall. This out-of-the-box exhibit puts all of your must-haves instantly on display.

Raj: I like the built in desk in the wall, especially since we could customize the size of it and color. We also could perhaps have it fold up so it could "clean up." We could then have custom book shelves above it. The ladder in a different color is a cool idea. Then we create custom seated areas on the windows and a beautiful chair and let the fireplace do its thing in the room.
Bookshelves are not only a great way of keeping books organized, but it's also a great way of bringing color into a space! This wall of shelving brings excitement to these white walls.
