Crisp Architects Thanks for your interest, unfortunately the floor was existing and I have little information on it. I believe it was oak in varying widths and I am unsure of the stain if any. The pendants are Sorenson Lanterns by Remains Lighting. Here is the link below:
Crisp Architects I unfortunately do not recall the brand. The panels on the front of the refrigerator were made custom by the contractor to match the cabinetry.
Eutree Wide Plank Flooring It looks like a mixed width oak floor like Crisp said. I think some of the planks also show circle saw marks. The bevel between the planks means it may also be pre finished. Hope that helps.
kimbody Makes me think I'm not going to want my white cabinets to go all the way to my ceiling...too much white happening. Better to be broken up by the wall color (not white!) peeking btwn. crown trim & ceiling.
Crisp Architects It depends which counter top you are looking at, the main counter has a basic square edge style, while the island has more of a dupont /square edge style.
nazzgirl329 We recently purchased varying width handskipped (sawmarks) Antique White oak flooring reclaimed from a barn in PA. through Longleaf Lumber in Cambridge MA. They have a website and their showroom is incredible-lots of great ideas. Ask for Mark or Alice-very helpful. Good luck!
SORAA That's correct Crisp. There are LED MR16 available. If I may, please check out www.soraa.com as we manufacture LED MR16s with top quality in light.
dleverett Sorry to bug you, but I really am interested in getting a description of this crown moulding if its not too much trouble. Like your work a lot. Thanks
May I please use this photo in a blog post? - I'm writing about wide plank hardwood floors and would love to include your photo. I'm happy to give you credit and link back here (or to another site if you'd prefer). Please let me know if this is okay! »
what is the width of the large wall unit - i love the large wall unit and am thinking of doing something similar myself. by any chance do you know how wide this unit is? »
khgott Love the backsplash. I wouod love marble on the countertops but am a bit afraid of staining and etching...I do however absolutely want it as a backsplash. I would be curious to know what the edges are supposed to be, smooth or rough as "church14" has stated.
HOOD & CABINET COLOR - what is the size of the hood, style and maker? I have to decide on a hood asap and like this one. Also, are they cabinets a stark white or off white? The color? Thank you so much. »
luelue05@gmail.com - love this kitchen, i need new floors in my kitchen and something very durable becasue we have a pool in the back. Can you help me?
Thank you. »
snowhite84 Yes, poly is your friend. Tile would be slippery IMO but wood can always be sanded and refinished. Maybe just consider a rug outside the door, if you are worried about pool / water traffic.
jkennedy76 Did you vary the widths of the floorboards? They appear to be 7" and 5" ? We're considering doing the same variation, but I'm in a toss up vs. doing all the same 7" width. Love the wide boards! Very nicely done.
Crisp Architects Those were existing in the home. I believe it is rough sawn pine. We get most of our floors from Hudson Company in Pine Plains, New York,
9. Spacious and bright in Massachusetts. Another example with big over-island lighting, this spacious kitchen combines several design styles. Wide-plank floors, cane bar stools and Calacatta countertops blend contemporary, traditional and modern elements together seamlessly.
