is this granite or chorion on the island? also, would you mind to share the particular name? »
jobeystone Okay, it is Savoy House Citadel 5 light chandelier, bad thing is it is no longer available or on back order everywhere I've looked. Here are 2 options that are almost identicle, maxim Lighting Manir 5 light chandelier on Wayfair.com for $288.00 free shipping or at Lowes.com, Pyramid Creations 5 light Manir Oil Rubbed Bronze Chandalier for $311.10, free shipping. Hope this helps, I've been looking too and I might have to purchase 1 for myself and my new house.
agriqueen Yes, that is right! It is a Citadel from Savoy House. I knew that was the company, but I couldn't find the paperwork to get the model name. I hope you found something similar.
Is the trim in the adjoining space the same color and finish as - Is the trim in the adjoining space the same color and finish as the cabinetry? If not, what's the difference? Thanks! »
I was wondering where the light fixtures are from and what color the cabinets are? Thank you - I was wondering where the light fixtures are from and what color the cabinets are? Thank you. »
agriqueen The light fixtures are from Savoy House and the cabinets are similar to Benjamin Moore's Spanish White with a glaze over. All of the baseboard and wood trim is Benjamin Moore's Spanish White and our cabinet company found their closest match. The dark island is walnut with a dark walnut stain.
We are in the process of designing a very similar open plan kitchen/dining room/living room here in Denver, and are curious as to the width and depth of this main room. Just like in this photo we will have a kitchen with island, a granite topped buffet, a dining room and then a great room. Our architect has a width and depth of 18' by 48' but don't know if this is spacious enough! Thank you so much! »
agriqueen The size of this room is very similar to the dimensions your architect is recommending. Based on our plans, the width of the area is 18' the length is about just about 50'. For our family, this gives us plenty of room. We had enough space to put a much larger kitchen table (fits 8 chairs at all times) and can easily add two more. This includes having three barstools at the second island -- no issues of chairs bumping into stools. Good luck designing your new home. It can be a fun process, if you are working with the right architect!
What is a good benjamin moore cream color that does not have a lot of yellow in it? I have a lot of rooms that I painted cream, but they all look too yellow. I'm looking for a cream that is more on the beige side.
Thank you! »
Dimensions of opening and shelves of wall between dining and family room - Greetings! I absolutely ADORE your home! It seems so warm, elegant, yet approachable and casual. All qualities I hope to emulate in our new home.
We have a similar size width between our dining/family room spaces - 19.5'. I've been concerned about the proportions of the shelves and opening/walkway. Might you share how wide these areas are? (are they divided into 3rds?, 6' shelf, 6' opening, 6' shelf?) I'd also love to know the height and depth of your shelves.
Thank you SO much for any help you may provide. And thank you for sharing your lovely home! »
