An unconventional and artsy bathroom we recently designed, with the intention of bringing out our client's unique personality while optimizing functionality. This is a very small bathroom, so we decided a sleek floating vanity with pull-out drawers would work best. Additional shelving and towel racks were added above the toilet, offering above the head storage that wouldn't make the space appear or feel smaller. Artistic custom European tiling and light fixtures give this bathroom the unique look we were going for - offering edgy graphics and intriguing "eyeball" style lighting. Designed by Chi Renovation & Design who serve Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Wilmette, and all of the way up to Lake Forest.

The master bathroom is set up with the freestanding tub as the focal point as you walk in. The toilet area and shower area are open and located behind the tub area. The tub area is accented with a colored wall that is curved to match the curve of the tub. The light fixture is Moroccan in style purchased on their travels.

Moen Brantford chrome fixtures add a contemporary flair to this transitional owner's bath. The frameless glass door adds elegance. White and gray tones combine harmoniously to create a soothing clean look. The floor tile is Daltile 12x12 Florentine Carrera, the shower surround walls are Daltile 10x14 Florentine Carrera, Vanity is Allen Painted Oak Vanity in Flint by Mid Continent. Counterops are 1.5" thick cultured marble in bright white with a beveled edge. Walls are Sherwin Williams Paint #7029 ‘Agreeable Gray’. Light fixtures are Progress Gather in Chrome.

Rustic, contemporary, natural, clean....this bathroom has it all. The 8 foot rustic vanity cabinet was made out of reclaimed wood from a barn in Pennsylvania. A nice touch from the manufacturer was that when we first opened the middle drawer, there was a picture of the barn from where the wood was taken. Modifications to the legs allowed for surface mounted vessel sinks for the customers. We also angled the side wall to allow for the installation of a freestanding tub. To top it all off, we installed radiant heated floors to keep the space toasty warm in the cold winter months. It truly became a retreat for our clients.
