New girls bathroom in adjacent Playroom, designed for two young sisters to share as well as used by guests. My concept was to create a whimsical, yet more grown-up feel by creating a pattern of white birds and butterflies in flight, throughout a bluesky background. Custom designed, hand cut swallows & butterflies made out of stained glass with other glass details embedded into sheets of gradient blue glass field tile. Custom birds by Archetile Mosaics. This master bath was remodeled to allow for two vanities and a freestanding tub. The original master bath was dark and very outdated and featured mauve tile in the shower and a pink marble countertop. Space was borrowed from an adjoining kid's bathroom and an extra wide hallway to give the master bathroom more space. The client loved the thought of using blue as an accent and the layout of the bathroom created the perfect spot to feature a hand glazed blue accent tile. Carrara marble was used on the vanity walls as well as a chimney wall at the end of the tub and the shower. The result is a picture perfect bathroom to relax and enjoy!

Bathroom - mid-sized contemporary 3/4 blue tile and glass tile porcelain tile, gray floor and single-sink bathroom idea in San Francisco with shaker cabinets, gray cabinets, a wall-mount toilet, gray walls, a trough sink, quartz countertops, gray countertops, a niche and a freestanding vanity

Our client wanted an updated transitional look with references to the sea. The coastal design for this bathroom began with the selection of the Kohler Derring Wading Pool sink and Finial Faucet. The Robern medicine cabinet mirror was recessed into the wall and surrounded by glass "swishes" in the same blues as the sink. A modern touch we used is the waterfall edge on both the outside and inside edge of the vanity and the outside of the shower bench. The Quartz is by LG in a retired color, Rafine. Sand colored porcelain wood plank flooring was continued from the rest of the home and gives an organic driftwood like feel to the bath. Hudson Valley lighting sconces are mounted onto the glass backsplash for a modern touch.

The clients' builder standard master bathroom was updated using marble look ceramic tiles in shower and large format in matte on the floors. The shower walls and niche were accented in an Arabesque tile in Blanc et Gris by Daltile offering iridescent blues and grays

This master spa bath has a soaking tub, steam shower, and custom cabinetry. The cement tiles add pattern to the shower walls. The porcelain wood look plank flooring is laid in a herringbone pattern.
