We were asked to create a very elegant master bathroom in this period 70's residence. We left many of the adjacent elements and finishes in place but created an entirely new aesthetic in the bathroom and dressing area. Four wing walls of low-iron glass are used in conjunction with the dramatic rear wall of Italian marble, beautifully book matched. Floors are 30 X 30 porcelain tiles. The pair of medicine cabinets left up to revel ample storage within the deep cabinets. Walnut cabinetry is custom designed by our studio. The skylight features a completely concealed shade which blocks out the sunlight completely, for those weekend days when you might want to sleep in late. This shower features a contrast detail of black granite tiles set in a neutral gray porcelain surround. The matte black pluming fixtures add to the high contrast shower, off of a man's game room/bar space.

This is the final product of a complete master bath renovation. Our client wanted a modern, spa like bath with elegant touches. We were inspired by a soft grey Arabescato marble mosaic tile. We paired that with a grey porcelain tile for the floor and white Italian ceramic for the tub face and shower walls. The combination gives the space a clean, ethereal feel. The counters are Carrera marble. The dark vanity offers a warm contrast. It is curved and soft. The mirrored medicine cabinets, recessed into a full mirrored wall, give the room an extended dimension. The fabulous light fixtures add a touch of glam and sparkle to the space.

The original Master bath was very dark and cavernous and needed some softness to oppose angled walls. A combination of light walls, and sleek floating cabinets, creates an overall softness in this Modern Masterpiece.
