The cabinet appears to float with lighting underneath activated by a motion sensor. The clear Lucite hardware disappears amplifying the minimalist design. The soft veining in the porcelain tile looks like marble but is safer and offers easier maintenance. The tall backsplash provides the perfect foundation for the wall-mounted faucet.

On the exterior, the desire was to weave the home into the fabric of the community, all while paying special attention to meld the footprint of the house into a workable clean, open, and spacious interior free of clutter and saturated in natural light to meet the owner’s simple but yet tasteful lifestyle. The utilization of natural light all while bringing nature’s canvas into the spaces provides a sense of harmony. Light, shadow and texture bathe each space creating atmosphere, always changing, and blurring the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor space. Color abounds as nature paints the walls. Though they are all white hues of the spectrum, the natural light saturates and glows, all while being reflected off of the beautiful forms and surfaces. Total emersion of the senses engulf the user, greeting them with an ever changing environment. Style gives way to natural beauty and the home is neither of the past or future, rather it lives in the moment. Stable, grounded and unpretentious the home is understated yet powerful. The environment encourages exploration and an awakening of inner being dispelling convention and accepted norms. The home encourages mediation embracing principals associated with silent illumination. If there was one factor above all that guided the design it would be found in a word, truth. Our clients wanted the look of marble without the expense...the solution: Cesaretto Blanco (glossy on shower walls and matte on bathroom floor). This tile has the movement of marble at a fraction of the cost. Brizo Baliza fixtures are a perfect compliment to this classy master. Honed Black Thunder granite countertop, knee wall and curb caps tie this design together beautifully.

By moving and minimizing the height of the pony wall and shortening the vanity, we were able to enlarge the shower and keep the shower bench. Tiling to the ceiling also makes the shower appear more expansive and cohesive.

This master bath has a 3 dimensional custom cabinetry design, with stunning hardware. Porcelain counter tops offer the classic look of statuary marble but with out the maintenance of marble. The flooring is a gorgeous chevron marble mosaic.

We removed a standard size tub and enlarged the space to allow wheelchair accessibility for the owners. We installed new vanity cabinets that were designed and constructed in a way that would allow the base to be removed if the customer desired to accommodate a wheelchair being pulled up to the counter-top. In the end the function of the space with the quality design proved to be a great addition to this home.
