Inquire About Our Design Services By revising the floor plan, we really opened up the space. We then painted the walls, ceiling, and most of the trim. We also did some really unique things with the furniture. We re-imagined the vintage tables by using them as end and accent pieces. And then we designed a custom ottoman, packed with storage. Located in the desirable San Francisco Bay, CA this room is full of family memories. It blends European, Asian and African elements creating a rich and culturally diverse look. The client has lived in Spain for many years and wanted the room to be casual, comfortable with pops of color. They have traveled extensively throughout the world and collected a few furniture pieces, rug and home accessories that were required to be incorporated into the space. We decided to bring the most memorable elements and enhance the color scheme with bold, bright and soft hues of reds, yellows and grays. In the end, the room became a true reflection of the owners’ eclectic taste, personality and life history. The atmosphere is rustic, yet coexists harmoniously with some modern elements. Client moved to downtown Austin and was looking for a space to compliment her new lifestyle. It's a small space, so we made the most of the space and created a unique and sexy environment for her.

In this project. All the pre-existing woodwork (doors, trims, baseboards and bookcases) were taken down carefully and reassembled in order to maintain the old Cambridge house beauty. The owners did not like the idea of a TV dominating a space; of it being a focal point in a living room. So therefore we designed the sliding panel which displays one of their special paintings when the TV is not use. In an open concept living space, one challenge is creating a sense of separate rooms with different functions but with an overall “feel” of it being one. I believe we achieved that. The gold tones dining room chandelier and the teal wallpaper in the dining room, which is such a rich, inviting color, distinguishes that room from the kitchen but complements it, and then the teal chairs in the living room carry that color theme there.

Our living room centers around our reclaimed mantel with wooden brackets. The metal coffee table is made from an industrial concrete sink base, with wood and glass details. The floral vintage chair, which we found at an antique mall in Aurora, makes for a nice morning sitting space with a nearby telephone pole end table ideal for your coffee cup.
