Carefully positioned on a site blessed with spacious surrounding acreage, the home was carefully positioned on a tree-filled hilltop and tailored to fit the natural contours of the land. The house sits on the crest of the peak, which allows it to spotlight and enjoy the best vistas of the valley and pond below. Inside, the home’s welcoming style continues, featuring a Midwestern take on perennially popular Western style and rooms that were also situated to take full advantage of the site. From the central foyer that leads into a large living room with a fireplace, the home manages to have an open and functional floor plan while still feeling warm and intimate enough for smaller gatherings and family living. The extensive use of wood and timbering throughout brings that sense of the outdoors inside, with an open floor plan, including a kitchen that spans the length of the house and an overall level of craftsmanship and details uncommon in today’s architecture. •

Dark, luxurious and rich is the feeling in this beautifully appointed master bathroom. The gorgeous Emparador Dark marble countertops and fireplace were accented with tile highlights, marrying perfectly with the travertine flooring. Design Connection, Inc. is the proud recipient of the Heartland Design Award ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) GOLD Award for this master bathroom project. Design Connection, Inc. This bath features a large stand alone Kohler tub, and plentiful use of Calacutta marble. Imaginative use of cabinetry, the complimentary soft grey walls, artwork, and bright feel make it an ideal place for a soak or shower.

This north central Phoenix residence features a new, large master bedroom, his and her closets, and master bathroom. All components are tied together with a warm palette of neutrals: greys, rich browns, and elegant marble. A beautiful walk-in shower and tub combines four types of tile for an elegant and refreshing spa-like experience.

This former bedroom was completely transformed into a gorgeous master bath. His and her vanity areas flank the nestled tub and shower. We attached the iron sconce lights directly to the wood framed mirror to visually expand the space. We had custom bronze finish towel bars made to compliment the fixtures and beautiful Savoy House lighting.

A breathtaking city, bay and mountain view over take the senses as one enters the regal estate of this Woodside California home. At apx 17,000 square feet the exterior of the home boasts beautiful hand selected stone quarry material, custom blended slate roofing with pre aged copper rain gutters and downspouts. Every inch of the exterior one finds intricate timeless details. As one enters the main foyer a grand marble staircase welcomes them, while an ornate metal with gold-leaf laced railing outlines the staircase. A high performance chef’s kitchen waits at one wing while separate living quarters are down the other. A private elevator in the heart of the home serves as a second means of arriving from floor to floor. The properties vanishing edge pool serves its viewer with breathtaking views while a pool house with separate guest quarters are just feet away.
