Bringing this cloakroom up to date with a modern feel. A cloakroom refresh, working with the existing tiles and sanitary ware, but embracing the natural darkness of the room. There was one small window that didn’t let a lot of natural light in. We wanted to do something quite bold and fun, so we went for the wraparound with a darker wallpaper. Which we matched in perfectly with the tone of the tiles. The challenge was finding something that matched the browns, blacks, bronzes and creams in the room. We added a shelving unit at the back to add interest and give more depth to the room and swapped out the old mirror for a more modern look, with the brushed gold trim, which ties in with the wallpaper as well.

The indoor outdoor design of this tropical getaway opens to the lanai sporting stunning ocean views and an elegant infinity edge pool. The sea inspired orange throw pillows are dotted with fish and coral patterns, the lanterns are hammered bronze Monsteria leaves, and a fire bowl frames either side of the aqua lounge.

The great room flows onto the large lanai through pocketing glass doors creating a seamless indoor outdoor experience. On the lanai teak daybeds imported from Bali face each other with custom blue covers and throw pillows in blue with coral motifs, the rectangular pool is complete with an aqua lounge, built-in spa, and a swim up bar at the outdoor BBQ. The flooring is a gray ceramic tile, the pool coping is natural puka pavers, The house a combination of traditional plantation style seen in the white board and batten walls, with a modern twist seen in the wood framed glass doors, thick square exposed tails and ebony stained square posts supporting the overhangs.
