Business Description
As an interior designer, I’m known for fearlessly tackling contemporary design projects, but it’s my firm’s creative, intuitive process that has clients from Austin, San Antonio and even all the way from Mexico seeking out our expertise. Why? Because I listen to design needs carefully while thoughtfully considering client tastes, always creating a meaningful space. And I offer straightforward, full-service interior design: Get happy, practical interiors without a bit of stress.

As the lead designer of Sarah Stacey Interior Design, I believe designing interiors is like carefully assembling the pieces of a puzzle. As each element is curated, from flooring to cabinets to paint to furniture and more, a home’s beautiful big picture is slowly revealed.

With over ten years of interior design experience, I’ve worked with a variety of clients — hip families with young kids in huge houses, savvy singles with modern lofts to every space in between — to cultivate stylish homes that exude uniqueness. That are easy to live in because they’re customized to function for your family. That are worth the investment. Highly inviting, they’re spaces perfect for entertaining or relaxing. Killer at coordinating custom and sourcing handmade, my portfolio proves I excel at light, energetic interiors that are comfortable and good looking.

When I’m not designing refreshing spaces, I contribute to Austin’s digital magazine Citygram, sharing interior design tips and tricks (like How to Select Throw Pillows). I volunteer for Women Design Build, teaching skills like how to use tools to build functional objects. I’m also an Affiliate Member of the IIDA (#1010247). Sarah Stacey Interior Design spends one week per month servicing San Antonio interior design clients.

Shoot me an email today at sarah@sarahstaceydesign.com to find out how I can transform your home!

Hi! The floor is a porcelain tile that has wood grain print. I'm unsure of the brand, but you can find these at just about any tile shop.

Beautiful rooms, thoughtfully designed for the owner. It would have been nice to see some "before" photos, too.

Hi Lourie, it's almost impossible to tell without seeing the room in person. You'll definitely want to paint a sample and place it near the floor and near all of your furniture before you paint the entire room. Make sure to take all elements of the room into consideration, not just furnishings...flooring, stone, tile etc.

60" is the turning diameter for a wheel chair. Most wheel chairs need 32" of width to pass straight through. We will have to take a look at prescribed accessibility dimensions by itself another time. Accessibility topics deserve special attention. SCR
