This living room was inspired by the love of neutrals and an urge from the client to incorporate pops of colour.
Yellow and Gray was our launch palette. We soon found lovely visuals, to support our mission. We kept the furniture calm and serene then punched each piece with pops of fun sunshine yellow!!
I know if you read my descriptions Yet again one of my favorite projects!!! I can't help it, I love them all!!
Thanks Jack and Angel, it was a pleasure working with you both :)

Need help finding a product - What the decorative pots called? »
Modern Rugs LA From looks alone it appears to be a custom cut broadloom wool piece. We carry a very similar product and would be happy to send you photos.
kszobel There is a similar looking one available at Westelm called Chester Tufted Upholstered Sofa. Not exactly the same, but very similar. My question is where is that chair from!?
would this grey go with a taupe brown feature wall? - I have a feature wall around the corner from the living room. I have been thinking of painting my living room a pretty grey. »
Wall color - Hi there
Someone keeps answering this wall color question saying it's Benjamin Moore Coventry Gray but I found this picture on the houzz article on "How to pick a gray". In the article it specifically says the gray wall color = Paint Pick: North Star 6246 by Sherwin-Williams. Jennifer could you please let me know which one if actually is?? I really like it. Thank you! »
Just what I was looking for! - Thank you for this! I had a vision in my head of pale gray/blue walls with pops of yellow and some neutrals to blend everything together! This was just what I needed! »

Decorate using pillows that feature bold, graphic patterns as seen above. These are my favorite patterns to work with because you can find them at any price point. The gray, cream and yellow palette creates a modern look while the mirrored furniture adds a touch of glam.
While turquoise may technically have been the color of the year in 2010, it was yellow that kept popping up. Here the color paired with neutrals
for a calm and contemporary feel. Ginger jars, shown scattered around the room, also trended high.
Ah, and Cate Blanchett, in your polarizing Givenchy Couture creation. Personally, I find Cate to be one of the most successful risk-takers in fashion and I adore her for it. Her Art Deco embellished lavender and yellow gown landed somewhere in between this softer room's accents and accessories...
While not exactly gold, these sunny yellow accents balance the cool silver walls, rug and toss pillows. This is an easy look to achieve: Simply bring some bright yellow flowers into your home to offset pale gray walls!
If you're a Formal Transitionalist: Your pillows are perfectly coordinating with a more modern flair in the patterns and styles. The living room shown here has a strategic layout of pillows, requiring some thought and planning, that resulted in a gorgeous collection of pillows that suits the room beautifully.
In the living room: Here the yellow throw pillows are just like that small vase of fresh blossoms, adding just the right touch of yellow to this soft and sophisticated room.
You could even just concentrate the color in small accent. Place them around the room so the color is pulled throughout: once the eye sees something so bright, it begins looking for a connection elsewhere.
Medium gray. I don't know why, but gray and yellow seem to be made for each other. Many people are hesitant to use yellow but when put with gray, it just works. You can create a cheery space by using a soft mid-tone gray with vivid yellow accents.

7. Mix bases, match shades. This room is a great example of mismatching lamps: The crisp white drum shades connect the floor and table lamps, though both are very different. The almost Roman styling of the floor lamp and the crystal-ball base of the table lamp both work wonderfully against the dove-gray walls, and both serve different purposes. A floor lamp generally lights a larger area than a table lamp, but neither light a whole room. Together they make for a warmer lighting scheme that is bright enough but not overbearing.

Lightening your space - If this is what you are looking to achieve - we can easily take all your large items and add WHITE! A large white floor lamp next to your green chairs, lighter colored pillows added to what you have, white accessories on the mantel - your pop is RED vs. yellow in this case.
