Inspiration for a large zen red two-story brick house exterior remodel in Atlanta with a hip roof and a shingle roof

This old farmhouse bathroom was originally narrow and choppy with ceilings under 8' high. We reconfigured the space to provide better access and designed an Asian inspired bathroom using Island Stone tile products. The vertical tiles on the shower wall create an awesome bamboo look. Adding a ceiling mirror in the shower creates the illusion of never-ending bamboo. Pebble tiles create a beautiful and unique floor that is also slip-resistant.

The deck over the small burbling pond provides a meditation or yoga space. The wooden sculpture of a stag doubles as a comfortable chair.

The interior of the fence and garden-a xeriscape or plants require NO water; our ingenuity went with enclosing a low cost bamboo panel in clear cedar which created a fine and secure fence system.

Low sculpted wood-stemmed plants and lush groundcovers, mostly cultivars of indigenous species. Moss-filled joints in the patios, groundcover draping over stone, thyme along edges of walls.
