We are planning to remodel this bathroom completely in a few years, and wanted to do an 'in the meantime' update. This left the door open for me to do something playful and out of the ordinary. The bathroom had 1950s pink and blue tile, and blue damask style wallpaper on three of the walls, so I painted the remaining wall hot glossy pink. The whole space was starting to get a little too girly after this, so I decided to shake things up a bit, by introducing an industrial/steam punk edge to the space. I have an abiding love of all things industrial, having grown up playing among the ship construction yards near my childhood home. Add to this an enjoyment of the 'My Fair Lady meets Barbarella' playfulness of steam punk, and you have my inspiration for this project.

Inspiration for a timeless bathroom remodel in Dallas

The Cicero is a modern styled home for today’s contemporary lifestyle. It features sweeping facades with deep overhangs, tall windows, and grand outdoor patio. The contemporary lifestyle is reinforced through a visually connected array of communal spaces. The kitchen features a symmetrical plan with large island and is connected to the dining room through a wide opening flanked by custom cabinetry. Adjacent to the kitchen, the living and sitting rooms are connected to one another by a see-through fireplace. Inspiration for a contemporary bathroom remodel in Raleigh

This Houston, Texas River Oaks home went through a complete remodel of their master bathroom. Originally, it was a bland rectangular space with a misplaced shower in the center of the bathroom; partnered with a built-in tub against the window. We redesigned the new space by completely gutting the old bathroom. We decided to make the space flow more consistently by working with the rectangular layout and then created a master bathroom with free-standing tub inside the shower enclosure. The tub was floated inside the shower by the window. Next, we added a large bench seat with an oversized mosaic glass backdrop by Lunada Bay "Agate Taiko. The 9’ x 9’ shower is fully enclosed with 3/8” seamless glass. The furniture-like vanity was custom built with decorative overlays on the mirror doors to match the shower mosaic tile design. Further, we bleached the hickory wood to get the white wash stain on the cabinets. The floor tile is 12" x 24" Athena Sand with a linear mosaic running the length of the room. This tranquil spa bath has many luxurious amenities such as a Bain Ultra Air Tub, "Evanescence" with Brizo Virage Lavatory faucets and fixtures in a brushed bronze brilliance finish. Overall, this was a drastic, yet much needed change for my client.

Tustin residents can rightfully claim fantastic quality and ambiance while accommodating comfort in their "New Bathroom Remodeling" project. For this Tustin Bathroom Remodeling, the "natural stone look" ceramic tile was desired in the design to alleviate upkeep while keeping elements of a more "Modern look" intact. A Frame less glass shower door was installed with glass liner. The tile is accented with a multi-tone back splash to tie it together. This design utilized the elements of glass, ceramic tile, and raised ceilings, essential to create comfort and space evident in this bathroom remodeling project. This Tustin bathroom remodeling project was an Epic success! The Clients are ecstatic with there new design in Orange County..
