The guest bathroom inside this 18th century home featured outdated design elements reminiscent of the 1990s. By redesigning the original footprint of the space and interchanging the old fixtures with customized pieces, the bathroom now interweaves modern-day functionality with its historical characteristics. For the master bathroom, we wanted it to feel luxurious, which I believe we achieved with the oversized honey bronze hardware and luxe gold plumbing fixtures by Brizo along with the three vanity wall sconces in the same finish. Adding to the luxurious feel in this bathroom was the tall custom beveled mirrored medicine cabinets which brings your eye up the statement marble chevron wall which we also repeated inside the medicine cabinets and down the center of the shower acting as an accent. Modern, flat panel vanities are made of white oak with a black stain and ribbed antique brass hardware. Gorgeous brushed brass faucets with knurled detailing from Brizo Litze collection. Bronze and brass sconces from Visual Comfort flank an antique brass mirror. Hudson Valley bronze and brass flush mount light over soaker bathtub. A spa like freestanding bathtub is flanked by 2 his and her vanities. A natural, leathered black granite counter top accents the tan limestone floors and black accents.
