Turquoise pebbles from Walker Zanger cover the floor and set the tone for this modern, Zen-inspired bathroom. A floating vanity with a simple slab door front holds the modern white sink. Polished chrome accessories and vanity light further the Zen feel and offer clean look. The tub surround, made up of aqua and cream crackle tiles from Walker Zanger, climb their way up to the aqua blue ceiling. Finishing the look is a turquoise waste basket for an intense pop of color.

When I purchased this floating home from my aunt and uncle, I didn’t know about floats and stringers and other issues specific to floating homes. Nor had I really thought about the hassle of an out of state remodel. Believing that I was up for the challenge, I grabbed my water wings, sketchpad, and measuring tape and jumped right in! This wonderful Denver bathroom is a relaxing retreat in an urban environment! Our client wanted a deep blue escape, and we achieved that through various aesthetic applications. Deep blue painted walls and dancing blue glass mosaic move throughout the space. We introduced concrete-look floor tiles for a bit of natural stone earthiness. The rich colors are contrasted by sharp whites and bright chromes.
