This wonderful Denver bathroom is a relaxing retreat in an urban environment! Our client wanted a deep blue escape, and we achieved that through various aesthetic applications. Deep blue painted walls and dancing blue glass mosaic move throughout the space. We introduced concrete-look floor tiles for a bit of natural stone earthiness. The rich colors are contrasted by sharp whites and bright chromes.

The owners of this stately Adams Morgan rowhouse wanted to reconfigure rooms on the two upper levels and to create a better layout for the nursery, guest room and au pair bathroom on the second floor. Our crews fully gutted and reframed the floors and walls of the front rooms, taking the opportunity of open walls to increase energy-efficiency with spray foam insulation at exposed exterior walls. On the second floor, our designer was able to create a new bath in what was the sitting area outside the rear bedroom. A door from the hallway opens to the new bedroom/bathroom suite – perfect for guests or an au pair. This bathroom is also in keeping with the crisp black and white theme. The black geometric floor tile has white grout and the classic white subway tile is used again in the shower. The white marble console vanity has a trough-style sink with two faucets. The gold used for the mirror and light fixtures add a touch of shine.

This lakeside home was completely refurbished inside and out to accommodate 16 guests in a stylish, hotel-like setting. Owned by a long-time client of Pulp, this home reflects the owner's personal style -- well-traveled and eclectic -- while also serving as a landing pad for her large family. With spa-like guest bathrooms equipped with robes and lotions, guest bedrooms with multiple beds and high-quality comforters, and a party deck with a bar/entertaining area, this is the ultimate getaway.

It was important to the homeowner to keep the integrity of this 1948 home — adding headroom and windows to the rooms on the second floor without changing the charm and proportions of the cottage. A dormer in the master bathroom allows for more windows and a vaulted ceiling. The bathroom vanity was designed to provide maximum storage. Standard 1990's hall bath with acrylic bathtub/shower insert was removed and guest bath renovated using porcelain tile (calcutta marble pattern), Mother-of-Pearl tile inlay, Brookhaven cabinets in Arctic White, SW Candlelight Beige walls with Pure White trim, Delta plumbing, Schaub lucite Positano pulls, the top was a Corian remnant (can't remember the color, Bisque maybe??) set as a "banjo top" to provide extra counter space, 4-light crystal vanity fixture from overstock.com.
