Love the floor but I would replace the table - maybe a drum table and also rethink the lighting fixture.. Also too many small objects on the table.

Lovely result, but the table looks a bit dwarfed by the giant planters.

Not sure why the table is there...unless guests are served tea upon entering.

I like it, but agree with Thos. Baker that the table looks dwarfed. I like a table in a big entryway, even if tea isn't being served.

Looks like the space is not only large but tall. All of it needs to be visited based on the scale of height as well as square footage. Not sure if it's the illusion created by the photograph or the table is too small. Having a large table and a beautiful centerpiece will pull it all together.

It's a grand entrance. Agree with the table comment..seems too small. I hope those plants are real:)

I knew this looked familiar. Then I remembered.... it's somewhat evocative of the Tomb of Napoleon in Paris, on a slightly smaller scale.... need a larger object in the center...

Camera angle may be throwing the perspective off... the planters do seem a bit "grandiose".
I'm sure it's impressive "in person"... Overall... looks good.
(Obviously, I'm not a fan of the tile, however... a bit too hectic for me....)

The grand foyer plays off the grand architectural style of the home. Foyer tables are common and their purpose, as far as I been taught are not used to serve tea on. However the table looks too short based on the height of other objects and the height of the ceiling. Perhaps, a round rug will ground the table and help give more visual weight- otherwise great job!

    Your entry is stunningly grand!
We agree with Desiree, a round rug could definitely ground the table, to make it appear more prominent.

Beautiful for your client, but I lean towards a less ornate decor. Agree that table's scale to room and especially the planters is off, but it may look different in person.

I think that the type of plants and the drapes makes it look a little sloppy, other wise very elegant.
