What Color Should Downspouts and Gutters Be?

Gutters and downspouts in my house match the previous trim color, which has been replaced. What color should gutters and downspouts now be?

Same color as the trim

Same color as the roof

Same color as the siding

A color that doesn't match anything

I can't tell if any of these photos are YOUR house--
so w/o seeing any specific photos w/colors how can we give specific answer--

as for the photo choices--the top photo looks like the siding has two colors--or there is a light trim and a dark trim w/the corbels and the shutters--
I would go with either color of the shutters/corbels or the light color of the trim IF you think it won't get overflow and stain...
it is a big house and having dark gutters can interfere with the overall appearance IMO

Gutters and downspouts are not a decor item. They should be whatever color makes them disappear.

There is no right or wrong. It depends on your gutters and downspouts. There are some beautiful ones out there and you would want them to stand out but if they are the everyday common ones, I would try to blend them with the house. I have white gutters and dark brown down spouts. They match the house colors and blend in beautifully.
