I'm disappointed I couldn't get a better look - couldn't open the video.

My view: I don't think you're at the 'styling' stage yet, but you probably should get to work on deciding on and repositioning the main branches.

It looks like a really nice plant with a lot of potential as a twin trunk. Yews are VERY apically dominant, so you need to severely restrain the top until you decide what the bottom is going to look like. You can build a top on a yew in about ........ oh, ....... 5 minutes or so. ;o)

It's really hard to tell, but it looks like the heavy branch above and to the left of the lowest branch needs to come off by either jinning it or ripping it out of the tree and creating shari. The branches you're going to keep as part of the composition on the bottom 1/3 of the plant need to be lowered. I know Taxus is extremely stiff, but you can cut into the wood above the branch with your cutters & then wire them down or pull them down with guy wires. Don't worry, the tree will tolerate it well & in a few years the wound will heal shut, You'll then have branches that come off the trunk at a downward attitude - not branches that obviously come off at an upward attitude and were then pulled down. This will look much more natural.

It also looks like I would be looking for a way to shorten the tree, but the view doesn't reveal the best option. .... wish I could see more.

My yew has no branches on the side it's leaning to. It definitely needs to grow some foliage for a few years and then it will be ready.
