I suggest you check out the container forum. Taste is a major consideration in many discussions there. If your self watering containers are big enough (at least 10 gallons), you can grow almost any tomato you want. It doesn't have to be determinant. There are a lot more flavorful choices among the heirloom indetrrminants.
