I have a small lavender plant that I could send you the whole thing in trade, if it still looks good. Haven't checked on it lately, and I lost a different one due to rot (clay soil). If it's no good, I can take some cuttings from my other two. Not sure how many cuttings I could take, as while they are larger than the 1st one, they are still small. Are you looking for cuttings for clones or cuttings for drying or cuttings for distilling? There are diffrent varieties that work better than others for the distilling. Some produce way more oils than others. As far as clones go, I have a couple named varieties. I have a very large angustifolia 'Dutch Mill' and a mini Stoechas 'Bella Rose'. Also, if you'd like, I work a large Lavender Festival in July and can get clippings from over 75 different varieties.

Also, there are varieties that are superb in wet/moist soil. There are varieties that grow 5+ feet tall. It really is amazing what breeding has done for lavender.

garden_n_mom, bless you! I'd like any (and all) varietie as I am a big lavender fan and just desire the growing of it for my bees; I am a hobyist bee keeper. I've read where it makes the finest honey. I do not wish to distill oils but may try using a branch of fresh lavender in top of hives to let the bees work out, as I have a theory that it will keep moths out. I sure would love the contacts of anyone who has cuttings to spare when they cut back. I have some rooted cuttings which are growing and some started from seeds which take longer. Also, you know some types can only be started from cuttings as the seeds are sterile.
