That does look like cold damage to me. I believe the leaves will naturally die on their own, so I don't think you necessarily have to cut them off right now.

I can't really tell how extensive the damage is, but it will surely leave your tree a little disfigured. I believe it's your call if you want to return it or not, but keep in mind they may say that was a chance you take ordering during the winter months (no offense, that's just how some businesses are).

@plantomaniac08, thank you for your response! I have already spoken to the store I ordered from and they will allow me to return it for a full refund. I think that's what I'll do and I'll wait until they get more in stock and order again in warmer months. I was really impressed by the size of the plant for the price, that is why I was not wanting to return it if I was able to save it, but since every single leaf looks like the one pictured (some ate completely brown), I'm afraid my only option is to return it. :(

Sounds like a plan. :) I'm glad you found a decision that you feel happy with. Sadly, the winter makes us want to all run out and buy plants (by all, it's probably just me LOL), but even purchasing in person can be a risk if the temperatures outside are low enough. Mail ordering during the cold months also has its risks. Better to wait until it warms up as you said. :) When you get another one by mail order once it warms up, show us a picture! I'm not big into "tree" plants, but I've always found the Fiddle Leaf interesting.

I would just keep it, personally. It will grow new leaves and the damage will go away.
