My Feb. POTM - garden bells

User

I got as close to the folk artsy and moving parts requirements as I could. I missed the primary colors req. so I took a photo with the American flag. I'm going to try to thumbnail them.......again. I hope it works this time!

I like those! So are they glasses or light globes? What did you use for the metal tops? I can see the ball and chain, but is the bottom piece cut from a fan blade? Come on gal, we need all the details. ;o) Luvs

Ok I check in here for fresh ideas once in a while, very seldom post, however I want details on this one. I love them. So please tell us what you used, how you strung the ball and what you used for the tops.

I am in the process of making one of these. Or I should say my B/F pretty much put it together for me. I have to paint the pieces we used for the clapper. The bell part is a thick cut glass light shade that sounds very pretty when it is clanged. I almost forgot about it! I'll have to look for some paint this weekend.

The top- the silver washer- it just looks so- Plain-
and I need to match up the chains.

    But they sound pretty!

    OOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
    YES!
I like the pink and the great glass. Ya done good girl!
I wouldn't worry about the top, when you hang it up it's not noticed or even seen.
Don't they sound nice? I really like 'em.
    Great job!
