It just seems like no matter how crappy the work week may be ...... there is always something that happens to make one smile. :-)

Last week we were so very busy. It was pure insanity ! Then out of no where comes a drug sales rep. She was so cheerful and had such funny stories to share with us. I had known her for several years and we have exchanged many stories. She goes to auctions and purchases horses that are destined for the slaughter house and gives them sanctuary and love.

Her latest addition was a Clydesdale mare and her foal. The foal died within 4 days of being rescued from the slaughter but his Mom is gaining weight and doing well. This kind lady went on-line and found a book for me.

'Arnie The Darling Starling' was given me as a gift after she endured my stories about Kramer, the starling. How nice is that? She went out of her way to track something down that she knew I would **LOVE** to have !

That act of kindness certainly made the week worth while.
