I But it brings back memories. Just as a background, Back in my father's day, we never saw a pack of sigs.

The cigs were sold or traded one or two at the time. Most were hand rolled, they were worth about one egg in trade. The "American" sigs were in great demand, and worth a lot more. A whole pack of American sigs, was worth a fortune..
I'm wondering what brought this to mind?

Gandle, I think that the original foil cigarette wrappers were made of a tin/lead combo..

It used to be a real tin coating. I remember during WWII that we had to collect cigarette papers. After the war the paper was coated with alu.
