Looks like my red maple seedlings. They come up in the flower beds as well as the lawn.

Not necessary to pull them in the grass. Mowing will kill them.

They are maple seedlings and they have come from a nearby parent tree. They are not the result of the lawn work. Just mow them and they'll go. They will not harm the lawn if mown now.
