Beautiful! What kind of camera do you have?

I have a Canon T3i. The first picture I was using the kit lens (18-55mm). For the frog picture and bee picture I was using my 70-200 IS II "L" lens.

All pictures have been cropped a bit to cut out the extra junk that wasn't needed.

I just joined this forum for the sole purpose of asking what kind of lily that is! (tropical or hardy?) Not that I need another lily in my pond...

I'm not sure exactly. I got it from Lowes about 4 years ago. It's long since left the pot and basically just floats around the pond free.

I live in IL and the pond freezes on the surface and the lilys go dormant. I would guess hardy?

Wow. From Lowes. Is it really that purplish color, or is it more pinkish? I haven't seen a purplish hardy lily.

It's pretty much the color as shot. I'll put up some more, took a few today. I need some time though to get them ready to post.

Thanks for looking. And these were 'live' from lowes. They have kinda gotten away from the plants in the water (at least by me), and don't have the selection. I think I got lucky.
