It's hard to see on yours, but see the ridge that runs from the mouth to the rear end of my bullfrog. Mine is easy to see since it is white, but as I understand it, if it doesn't have the ridge it's not a bullfrog. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Glenda

That looks like a female green from to me.

PFM, They look like Bullfrogs to me, but being so far away makes it difficult to say for sure.

Note the ridge that runs from behind the eye around the tympani [ear] and ends there, on a Bullfrog.
On a Green Frog the ridge runs from behind the eye, right down either side of the frog to the bottom.

Thank you Glenda, that frog in your last photograph looks like a Bullfrog to me, judging by the arch ridge around the tympani area.

I cannot tell what the first two are but Leopard Frog then Bullfrog for the second two is correct. That Leopard frog is gorgeous!

I like all my frogs. I have families of the Leopards and Bullfrogs. I had a kazillion toad babies and almost as many green tree frogs. I also had another one that I can't remember what someone told me it was. This one.

I never saw this one but once and never any mates or babies. Wish I had. I think it is pretty. Have lots of frog music around my pond. Glenda

That's definitely a bullfrog you have there Chris.
The ridge running around the ear from the eye is so prominent.
They come in various shades of green/brown, with dark markings all over them.
Judging by the size of the tympanum in relation to the frogs eye, it looks as if you maybe holding a female bullfrog.

There's another one in there, same size, atleast there was yesterday. I'm wondering if they were just stopin in for a quick looksee.. I'll check later to see if they are still there, but they weren't htis AM

They definately love to lurk around in the skimmers in the day time. Bet if you go out with a flashlight at night you'll see them around the plants around the edges. I have Solar lights around my pond and every night my biggest male bullfrog sits right by one particular light, it must draw the most bugs. Glenda
