My New Additions from the AV Show

My wife and I went to the Spring Branch AV Show here in Houston and picked up these little jewels:

Rebel's Splatter Kake

I wish the silver color of the Episcia showed up better. The photo does it no justice.

Thanks Irina! I can't wait for the strep and episcia to bloom. This is my first go with other gesneriads.

Thanks Larry. The leaves on the episcia are so nice I almost don't care if it ever blooms! They have that same shimmering quality to them that AVs have in their flowers.

Very nice! My Rebel's Splatter Kake has lost most of the purple fantasy and blooms pink with a white edge - still very pretty but may get another if I have the chance. I love the episcias too. Have a few streps but they have not done too well since I moved in Dec.

Did you manage to only buy 3 plants at the show??? I have not been able to do that yet, but may have to contain myself from now on. LOL

Only got 3 plants at the show. My wife and I only brought about $12 between us so we couldn't get much. It's a good thing because there were a lot of nice plants.

I went to the Wichita, KS. show/sale last weekend and brought home:

Strep. Iced Pink Flamingo
