This is what I do the first time I take them out, I put it in full shade for a few hours and then back in the house,every day move it a little more into the sun. I think its best to do this for at least 5 days so the plants dont go into shock. For now keep it in the shade, she should bounce back.

I spent at least 5 days working up to overnight this year. Both indoor plants did quite well. In years past I simply accept that going from in to out, they will loose all of their leaves. That typically being three after winter. But they are replaced soon.

When I took my banana out all the leaves browned and got tattered from the wind so I just cut them off. I fertilized it and gave it full sun. A month later and many warm days later and its finally pushing new leaves. It has 1 new leaf (the cut ones now opened) and another comming up. That was a dwarf cavendish and non dwarf varieties will re grow quicker. Mine also was slowed down by the last frost in my area which occured in late march.

It will be much happier outside but will need to adjust first.

I also noticed that moving my tomato and cucumber plants outdoor in direct sun was damaging for the plants. Now I will try to move them to in direct sun gradually.

you can use that Dee. even better, a higher number.
