Thanks. I just learned how to post a picture in my message last week. So I got that goin' for me. Do a search in the garden forum for "posting a picture" and it will explain how to do it. After that its just trial and error until your posting a picture. Good Luck. Hope to see your work soon!!

Nice photos oppalm. If you look closely in the foreground of the second picture, you can see a sago palm. Is this palm in the ground or pot?

Thanks gardenguy. That is indeed a sago palm and it is in a pot on the patio. Its about three years old. Very easy to overwinter indoors, I keep it in an east facing window.

On the right hand side of the pond on the rocks is a 1 year old senegal date palm (phoenix reclinata) and on the back of the birm/mound is a mexican fan palm (washington robusta) that is planted in ground. I overwintered it there last year with protection.

I believe the banana is a musa basjoo and the big palnt on the right hand side is a canna - grande musafolia (I was told this is called the banana cana).
