Great place to do it all..is right HERE. No need to go to California for me lol. I invited California to my place last year and I do loved the California Zinnia's!!

Bought me some other Zinnia's this year. I just loved them a lot in the beds. It was also nice to make a little flower arrangement for the neighbors and DIL. She loves the garden. Oh and of course my little Maddy loves taking a flower home and give it to her Mommy :-)

I like getting flowers too. Any other day then Valentine's day. I can not see that they jerk up the prices so much that you could feed a family a whole month with it.

Now you know that I am still waiting for everyone to say the weather improved. But I guess Phil ruined that for 6 more weeks lol. And don't worry. I saw on the weather news just now that another cold night is coming lol I will not have to go nuts trying to get it all in the house again in a timely fashion. Sure was sweating last night.

I think we got around 8" of snow. As of last, school was gonna be 2hrs. late with a predicted 2-3" overnight. This morning, No school because of the surprise 4+ extra inches.
I'm enjoying how beautiful it is clinging to all the trees.

Good morning all! Lucy, what a beautiful zinna. I have only grown a small orange one. They are beautiful, but like other plants that I grew up with in Arizona and saw them as common, I haven't planted them here. Another example is the coleus, but they have come up with so many different beauties, that I now grow those if something catches my eye. Zinnas will be next! Poked my head out the door a while ago, and it is chilly, but not freezing.

Just got some of those seeds. looking forward to growing them.
In the upper 20's here. Wind chill in the teens. I am COLD! LOL
Wait to go to the GH. Will wait a while. Will be in the 40's all day! And the teens tonight!

Eloise do you have California Giant Zinnia seeds? Love to send you some if you don't have any and would like some. I also planted some candy cane ones. They caught my eye when I was seed shopping.

Dorothy you will love how HUGE they grow. What colors did you get. When I bought the seeds it was a MIX. But only the hot pink and pink came out of the ones I planted.

Pretty picture, dang it's cold here, had ice on
my little fishy pounds brrrr! Tell you what this
weather is really starting to erk my ask me no ?
I'll tell you no lie, lol! This is been the coldest
year in 20 years for us and I don't like it at all!
The wind chills you to the bone its terriable!
I know there's alot of folks north of us cacthing
hell my heart goes out to them, atleast I have heat
and all them poor people don't even have power!
So any way hope all of you have a wonderful day or
make the best of it anyway. Stay warm please! Oh! its
snowing at the beach in S.C. Lordy, Lordy!

Oh Lucy, those are so pretty. Can't wait to plant the seeds you sent me and see those babies bloom. Thanks for sharing those seeds with me. And I picked up some of those Candy Cane ones too. I've never grown the California varieties before and really looking forward watching them grow and bloom this year.

Barb, -6, that's too cold for me. Hope it starts warming up for you soon.
