OT: POTD: Look how a few days bring changes to this Lantana

NO?

So I whisper to the ones that are here....Good Morning.

Hot Day. Lots of plants to re pot before going on vacation. My only hope that bigger pots let them live from evening to evening till hubby waters.

Bought tons of saucers? Is that how you call them things under the pots that catch the water? Man I slept so good and if I would not have to take Precious to the Vet, and gardenwork, I could sleep till noon or so lol

anyways my hope is with all those Saucers and letting them fill with water, it will be ok for the 11 days I will be gone. I just know Hubby is not going to water as much as I am :-( How can he, he got to work all day :-(

So who thinks I am doing more harm to the Brugs then good? I mean we are in the 100 already!

Enjoy each day....yes we all know that they are different every day. But in the end...each day gets us closer to what ever is in store for us.

That color lantana is so pretty! I need to get some too!

Have a great vacation and don't worry about the plants. Can you get a friend or neighbor to check on them occasionally while you are gone to lighten the load on hubby (and to double-check his work Ã¢ÂÂº)?

Siam I know, cause Hubby will not be after I get back and they are dead rofl. Just kidding. I do my best every day and with the heat increasing...it is even hard for me to keep em all happy. Maddy and I sure will have a great time. I wish I lived closer to the other 2 grandkids. But not complaining.

Pam my neighbors are all sickly and up there in age. I mean really up there. You know, like a little boy says to mommy at the store...look mom, this lady is REALLY old. Well...I guess through out life....when you look at someone who is a LOT OLDER....you just can not help yourself lol

I like this Lantana too. Have a few other colors. But for Amadeus' resting place I found a white one at Lowes and not a plain purple one that I have already. But purple with pinkish white blooms also.

Grows Wild Here In Florida.
I have them growing crazy on the
side of my property. and they are
up & down the street on side of the
road which most Floridians consider
Them to be a Wild Weed.

They have them here too growing towards the road by the houses. That is ONE plant that I believe the Deer really have not touched yet and will not eat.

Though here people plant them...but they do so well without watering. Guess that is why mine really do not get that big...to much water lol

I will bring my clippers to Florida lol
