Is all purpose quikrete gravel good to make a potting mix for my succulent type plants along with soil and sand? I have an aloe barbadensis Miller and a haworthia attenuata and a colorful moon cactus

Don't know what type of gravel that is, but pls. don't use sand, it's a bad idea. Above statement is absolutely true!

It depends on the size. 3/4 is too big. 3/8 is fine. Combine 2 gravel: 1 calcined clay (turface). Don't use any soil or sand.
