Butterfly bush to entertain young child with butterflies?

Looking for a butterfly bush to attract large colorful butterflies to foster love of garden and animals for little one. Any recommendations please? Also which vendor would you recommend please?

This is going to sound somewhat stupid but it is actually called a butterfly bush or buddleia. I was looking for the same thing and was pointed to it. Mine is still in the pot but the butterflies already love it. Mine is called the Royal Red.

*edit* sorry I can help you with a vendor in your area. I wouldn't be surprised if your local nursery stocked them.

I have a buddelia bush but there's not one butterfly that goes near it. However they love to visit the tropical and swamp milkweed (which is in containers) to nectar from.
Mainly the tiger swallowtails visit them. Other than monarchs that I release and skippers.

What part of Nova are you in, if you don't mind me asking.
I'm in Fairfax and I go to Merrifield. They are AWESOME.
